Pronghorn Center

Gillette College is asking you to rally with others in securing the needed funding  for the Pronghorn Center.  This project will impact our students, our athletes, and our community.  Our nursing students will have a simulation lab which will enrich their skills and learning as well as that of local emergency personnel.  The nursing simulation lab will be used to train EMTs, fire fighters and local law enforcement.  The facility will also provide a venue for intramural activities and athletics.  We will no longer have access to the current facilities we are using beginning fall of 2017.  The Pronghorn Center will augment community activities, promote health and wellness, provide a venue for intercollegiate athletics and intramurals, and strengthen our quality health careers education.  This facility is the next major building of the College's master plan.  Our continued growth in enrollments has resulted in the need for expanded educational space and the addition of athletic and intramural space.

Campbell County has agreed to match dollar for dollar the remaining funds needed for this project.  In addition, the County has set aside approximately $2.7M in a sinking maintenance fund for the project.  The construction of the Pronghorn Center is a critical need for Gillette College.  It will impact our students, our athletes, and our community.  We are offering numerous opportunities for you to participate in supporting this exciting project.  We hope you will see the value this facility provides to the community and the College and choose to contribute to our efforts.  Please contact the Foundation Office and find out how you can help!!
