Introducing Board Member Dan Clouston!
Dan and his wife, Alicia, moved to Gillette from Mandan, North Dakota in 2003 with a three year plan. That plan has turned into 16+ years as Gillette became “home”. Dan is an Occupational Therapist, specializing in arms, with Gillette Physical Therapy, alongside his wife who is a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer. Dan was the area’s first certified hand therapist. Their sons, Kyler (13) and Reece (9) are involved in football, hockey and baseball. Dan enjoys coaching his boys and Gillette youth in these sports. He also enjoys hunting and playing hockey, and has been a part of Gillette Rotary, as well.
Dan joined the Gillette College Foundation (GCF) in May 2011. He joined the board in order to give back and help make Gillette an even better community. His favorite GCF event is the golf tournament in August.
When asked what words of advice Dan had for our students, he said, “Enjoy the entire education opportunity. Learn as much as you can from others. Everyone has something they can teach you.”
Dan’s favorite thing about Gillette College is the small town atmosphere with large results. That’s one of our favorite things, too, Dan!
Let’s give Dan Clouston a round of applause for his service to our college and community!
