Sierra Rosales

Gillette College Foundation’s Scholar Spotlight!

Meet Sierra Rosales, recipient of three Gillette College Foundation Scholarships:  Alpha Nu Psi Chapter E/PTK Scholarship, the Arch Coal Endowment Scholarship, and the Cloud Peak Review Scholarship.

Sierra comes to us from Belle Fourche, South Dakota.  She has a younger sister, plays for the Pronghorn Women’s Soccer Team, and really misses her mom’s enchiladas!   She is in her second year as a health science major and hopes to ultimately specialize, possibly in ultrasound.  In the next 10 years, Sierra sees herself happy, with a career she loves, and possibly settling down with a family.

The scholarships Sierra received have allowed her more opportunities to grow in her education, have improved her collegiate experience, and have relieved financial stress.  In her time with Gillette College, Sierra has been afforded many new experiences, met new people, and feels she has really “come out of her shell” since high school.  Her advice for upcoming students is, “Don’t be afraid to meet new people and try new things.  Don’t be stuck in your own world.  Be social and optimistic.”

Sierra’s favorite thing about being a Gillette College student has been being involved with the soccer team.  She has loved making long-lasting memories as a Pronghorn.

The Gillette College Foundation is proud to present Sierra Rosales as our Scholar Spotlight!
